Overall Satisfaction with Tableau Desktop
It was used by our department. And we mainly use it to build web-based reports, which can be used interactively by the senior management team.
- User-friendly interface.
- Good IT support and lots of resources.
- Can publish reports to a server.
- Quite expensive.
- Limited functions in calculations.
- Not support embedded SQL.
- Not compatible well with Microsoft’s products.
Excel has better-embedded coding functions, such as VBA developing environment, but cannot publish reports to an online portal and has limited visualization function. QlikView has fewer online resources and a small community to help you solve problems.
