Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Taskworld is used by our organization to help our teams and engineers keep track of the work we're currently working on, as well as what's ahead of us. It's used on a team-by-team basis here, instead of the entire department. The business problem it addresses is how to efficiently manage all the work a team needs to get done for any given time.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Task Management - It's super easy to track progress on Taskworld. If your team keeps up with it, you'll never wonder where in the project someone is, because it's marked.
Project checklists - Having these to organize out smaller portions of the tasks makes everything so much easier and helps keep track of progress.

Cons

UI - If you're coming from another project management software, the UI may seem a bit complex at first. It takes some getting used to, but it's worth it.
External app integration - If your team likes to integrate your project management software with other tools, you may find yourself a bit limited.

No stories left behind! It's too easy to track what's been worked on.

Trello, Asana, Jira Software, Slack and Wrike

Taskworld stands above the competition by integrating excellent project management features, as well as messaging abilities. Some of these apps do one or the other, but none of them do both nearly as well as Taskworld does. We selected it for our team to minimize the number of tools we're using. But not being required to get a separate messaging tool, Taskworld was for us.

Support Rating

I can't say too much about the support we've gotten from Taskworld, because we haven't needed it. There haven't been any issues we've to have to reach out about because it works too well. Given the quality of the application, I'm sure the quality of the support follows.

Taskworld is well suited for precisely what it does. It's excellent for project management, task progress tracking, and for the different checklists, it offers. A scenario where it may be less appropriate is if you're trying to use it primarily for communication. There are better message boards out there, but maybe not ones that are also project management tools.
