Overall Satisfaction with Tealium iQ Tag Management System
Tealium iQ is being used by the Internet Marketing Department to manage all third party marketing tags (100+) across multiple domains. The business area is responsible for the setup and testing of the tag while information technology provides code review and final approval for scheduled migration into production. This solution dramatically reduced the number of code deployments the web team was having to manage due to tag changes while increasing site speed due to asynchronous tag loading. It is also increased the ability for the business to deploy new tags by eliminating the dependency on information technology development resources to directly manipulate web platform code.
- Technology: Tealium continues to improve the iQ solution rapidly based upon the feedback of existing and new customers. Tealium seeks the customer feedback to push the solution forward in new and exiting ways that delivers value and flexibility to customers.
- Customer Service: Tealium has been able to maintain a high level of customer service despite the rapid growth of the company. This is a testament to the organization of the company and their ability to attract the right talent to manage that growth.
- Customers: Tealium is managing more tags than its competitors combined and the strength of the customer community creates a rising tide of ideas which helps Tealium move the solution forward while inspiring new ways for customers to leverage the toolset.
- Tealium iQ can be an intimidating solution to understand and use. So, it is highly valuable to have walkthroughs and setup wizards that reduce that barrier of entry to the solution.
- Communicating out the latest changes and ways to leverage them is a constant challenge for Tealium given the rapid release of features. Making sure this messaging is clear by leveraging a mobile Tealium Customer Application like that used for Digital Velocity to communicate out the latest and greatest changes may be an opportunity.
