Overall Satisfaction with TestComplete

Whether you have a programming background or not, TestComplete is easy to use for all levels of experience. It is a one shop tool to create one off tests or reusable scenarios across different platforms and browsers. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an automation tool for their company.

  • Not having the ability to test on a Mac or against Safari browsers is a big downfall. This is the only thing that I wish TestComplete would address based on my current use and needs.
  • We have a lot of different test cases that need to run for multiple clients. Each client has their own configuration which can be very cumbersome for our QA team to remember. Using testcomplete we have automated those scenarios to eliminate the need for Analysts to review, setup, and perform manually.
  • We are looking at close to an 80% reduction in total testing hours needed for a regression phase of testing.
We used to use UFT, but that was very expensive and a memory hog. TestComplete is a fraction of the cost and performs well on most machines.
Building tests or structuring your library is very easy. Even first time users have no problems understanding what to do, or how to use. There are also a lot of add-ons for a nominal fee that are very beneficial to us. Their environment manager is a great tool as I can share actual video recaps to developers when I run into any issues.
