When People Count
Overall Satisfaction with Text-Em-All
Since our church meets together only once a week, communication at other times is vital. With this program we are able to send out information at any time, immediately, at a reasonable monthly cost. While our congregation is small, our people have expressed appreciation for being kept informed of news, announcements, cancellations, etc. The old days of the telephone chain are too painful to remember. I appreciate also that the fees are based on user numbers, and not a flat rate. As our church grows we expect to pay more, but for now it is easily within our budget.
Pros
- immediate access to communication
- flexibility of using voice messages or texts
- the ability to view instant reports of calls made is valuable
Cons
- I was very disappointed when the phone app for making phone calls was discontinued, and I can't understand why, nor was I given a heads-up. Texting can be done through the app, but phone calls require logging in to the website, an extra step that should be unnecessary.
- affordability
- ability to schedule calls instantly or for later distribution
- the instant nature of the system, calls being received within just a few minutes
- In a religious community, the need to feel included and care for is vital, and this service provides that.
- We would not be able to make all these calls individually, so this not only saves time, it makes something possible that would not otherwise be possible at all.
