Overall Satisfaction with ThoughtSpot
ThoughtSpot is currently being used by our strategy and planning organization. This group is responsible for ad-hoc analysis of data but also gets requests for one-off analysis. We're attempting to leverage ThoughtSpot as a tool for one-off analysis so that users can pull their own data without having to have a deep understanding of the other tools in play for data analysis.
- Data visualization
- Data insights
- Ease of searching
- Lots of hands on IT work needed for initial setup
- Sometimes difficult to develop complex metrics
- Reduced time for questions to be answered
- Increased throughput for analysts
New users come up to speed very quickly. With a few hours of training the users are able to navigate the system and pull everything they need.
They are extremely accurate and quickly able to pull data with very little training required. They can quickly get to answers they need and not have multiple people involved in pulling the data
We have ThoughtSpot attached to our data warehouse, and users are able to pull any data from the system at any time. They have access to all the data available within the cloud data warehouse
We did not evaluate other products against Thought Spot. We do leverage microstrategy heavily in our environment and we see ThoughtSpot as an augmentation of that environment.
