Overall Satisfaction with ThoughtSpot
ThoughtSpot is available across the organization. Some functions have taken a larger leap in self-service analytics with ThoughtSpot. It helps us with reducing cost and improving efficiency.
Pros
- Analysis comes more naturally in ThoughtSpot than in other tools through NLP.
- It ties in very well and effortlessly with our fiscal calendar and makes time series analysis by fiscal dates very efficient.
- Auto ML (Spot IQ) is able to uncover insights that encourage users to dive into areas that they would have not known otherwise.
Cons
- Visualization options and graphics colors can be improved.
- Deeper analysis with "growth of" has a lot of untapped potential.
- Administration processes (upgrades, patches, migrations, etc.) can be better.
- Our analysis capability now has allowed us to gain a large percentage of cost savings
- Large productivity boost for our data-savvy users--they have more time to take action on the insights that in the past was taken up by building visuals.
ThoughtSpot provides a much better UX for self-service analysis.
