Overall Satisfaction with Tipalti

I am an admin and use Tipalti daily to automate workflows, reducing the time spent on data entry and invoice approvals, thereby increasing overall efficiency. We have thousands of Payees that we pay through Tipalti.

Also fraud is reduced as Tipalti compliant process is strictly adhered to by detecting problems before they arise which is a great feature.

Pros

  • Batch Payments of Hundreds of Payees
  • Reduce risk of fraud by reviewing compliance
  • Security of private information entered only by Payee themselves

Cons

  • We currently do not have the option to pay our payees directly with the EUR currency which we hope to have resolved soon.
  • A lot of difficulties in paying Canadian payees as supposed to needs their bank information entered a certain way causing a lot of rejections and increase workload for my team
  • Would love to be able to have our agencies who manage multiple payees have one profile portal where they log in and see all of their payees at once
  • We are able to increase efficiency in our department by saving time in entering invoices 1 by 1 for each payee this we are able to avoided the need to hire additional full-time employees
  • We have been able to perform our Accounting close a lot faster saving 2 days average per month.
  • We have also in the last year save average of $50k from avoiding duplicate payments.
Tipalti is very user friendly we are able to manage payment batches efficiently as we can see 100 pending payments on one screen.

Also the approval process workflow helps us with our internal controls. As I can make selections for payment but i cannot approve them.

I think all around the party is a great call asset tool our company. It's efficient and it helps improve our payment process. Sometimes we do not have the information sync directly to our ERP system completely which can be a headache but the majority syncs. Tipalti is well suited for a company that handles thousands of payments to process each week. The best part is that security controls provides a self-service portal for suppliers to input and manage their information, streamlining the onboarding process and ensuring data accuracy
