Overall Satisfaction with Cision Communications Cloud
We use Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* in the PR department here at the company to monitor mentions across both national and international media and to produce coverage reports for the senior management. It's a big time saver for us as a department given that we have control over the search criteria and the ease in which you can customise and produce the reports using Cision.

Pros
- Reporting - Quick, easy to use and the reports are fully customisable and interactive
- Mention Tracking - Detailed and interactive breakdown of mentions day-by-day that has replaced our previous tracker
- Searches - Very helpful when tracking different products that have different target audiences and media
Cons
- Filtering out content - Difficult to filter out some mentions that are irrelevant to the product in question, particularly when there is just a passing mention
- Gorkana Media Database
We previously used Gorkana to track media mentions. Cision Communications Cloud (TrendKite)* provides the same service but is also integrated into the dashboard and reporting functions which is massively helpful. The one slight concern is that we can't filter out low-quality content and irrelevant mentions effectively but we couldn't do that with Gorkana either.
