Overall Satisfaction with TriNet HR Platform

We mostly use TriNet for HR compliance, benefits, and payroll services. TriNet HR Platform offers competitive benefits plans and rates that would be very difficult for us to obtain as a small to mid-sized company.

Pros

  • Reporting
  • Staying on top of HR compliance (labor laws and regulations)
  • Integration with other apps

Cons

  • Employee solution center used to be more responsive
  • I am told multiple ways to contact different teams at Trinet. It would be great if it was more centralized.
  • I wish the compensation benchmark report function was free
  • My company is likely saving $50k or so on health insurance
  • My company is saving $30k/yr on retirement plan services via TriNet
TriNet has made significant improvements over the years. Its interface is very user-friendly and it now offers a lot more training resources to help us navigate the platform.
TriNet HR Platform offers more comprehensive features and functionality than Paycom. I believe TriNet has better-trained and informed representatives to assist its clients.

I cannot think of any scenarios where TriNet HR platform is less suited or appropriate. Perhaps for a really small company (less than 10 employees), TriNet might not be the most cost effective solution. However, for companies with more than 50 employees and with a small HR department, I believe the company will see some cost savings with their competitive benefits rates and TriNet will be extremely valuable with HR compliance.
