Overall Satisfaction with TripActions

TripActions is one of the better, if not maybe the best expense tool/platform I've ever used. I would say that I have moderate/deep experience with 4 expense tools total, and TripActions is by far the most intuitive. The User Interface is extremely simple and very easy to navigate. I began using TripActions at my current company even after it was brought on (basically meaning I missed the training/demos from TripActions), and I had 0 difficulties picking it up.
  • The amount of integrations between different travel companies is great.
  • The simplistic UI.
  • Clarification around the Amazon bonus points.
  • A better explanation of Marriott rewards.
  • TripActions has provided only a positive impact for us at Dialpad so far.
  • Enablement has relayed travel cost/savings from 2019 using Trip Actions, and it was great.
TripActions stacks up exceptionally when comparing against similar tools such as Nexonia, or Certify. Both of which I have used at prior Sales Orgs. With expense tools, it all comes down to the mobile application. If you're traveling at all for your role/job, you will constantly receive pressure from the leadership team to upload/file your expenses immediately. In an ideal world that would be on the road, while you're still traveling, which means you're forced to use said tool's mobile app. TripActions mobile app is easily their most significant differentiator, in my opinion.
I would give their support team a 9 out of 10, only because I have had little to no involvement with their support team yet. I have HEARD great things/positive sentiment regarding their CSMs and support staff from members on my team that has connected with them. However, I can't personally vouch for that.

Similar to other expense tools, TripActions is an excellent fit for any traveling employees (Sales/Marketing/Support, etc..). Their mobile application is one of the best I've seen to date. It's surprisingly intuitive, and the feature parody between the actual desktop site and mobile app is excellent. You really will not lose too many features when switching back and forth (which is excellent when you're uploading expense files/pictures on the road).
