The other products that we considered were FireMon and SAP Data Intelligence. Through the different reviews provided on TrustRadius by each user with experience in the software, we were supported in deciding on the software that best suited our needs since each one expresses the scope and best-performed functions of the solutions that were considered.
The most recent project on which we are working is regarding Cisco Defense Orchestrator. It is a necessary software to be able to have a better administration in terms of the security of our business infrastructure. This solution makes it much simpler to manage the different security devices from a single platform and even manage policies to keep us free from threats. To carry out this project, about 6 to 10 people participated, and the time taken for the acquisition of the software and its respective evaluation was two weeks since a thorough investigation was needed for the chosen software to be fully matched with our company.

The first thing that caught my attention about TrustRadius is that each of its reviews provides complete information about each software since it covers the good and bad points and the ROI that each user obtains after using the acquired software. This greatly facilitates the time to choose some software, while the other platforms are limited in their reviews and are not very precise.
If these reports and analyst ratings were used, some were helpful in determining the performance of the software to be considered, and they were evaluated before making the final decision. That's why I like it because, when purchasing software, it is important to know its performance and thus determine its scope. However, some are very complex and not very precise.
There are several factors that are considered before determining the product that will be put into use in the organization. One of them is if it is fully integrated with the business infrastructure and how positive is the ROI it will bring once it is launched. In addition, managing a few days of testing of said product helps to determine if its functions are necessary to meet business needs and, of course. Obtaining knowledge about reviews from users who have already used the software generates a touch of confidence and a great idea of performance and its scope in different settings.
