Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers

Whenever I am looking for reviews and recommendations on software for our company, I always make check TrustRadius. I also source out our software options using the different software categories on the TrustRadius website. This is to make sure we have an informed decision on all of our current software options before proceeding to the selection of the vendors shortlist for our procurement to process. This is an important step of our planning stage in our company's digital transformation roadmap.
  • Comprehensive software reviews from real users
  • Complete database of software applications
  • Great UI and UX
  • Does not have a mobile app but can be used on a web browser
  • Does not have an AI powered chatbot
  • Still lacks a feature to add software to my shortlist
  • Better informed decision on software spending
  • Less Risks on software being unable to deliver to management expectations
  • Higher success rate of Project Implementation
I honestly look at Gartner Magic Quadrants and Forrester Wave Reports, but find them lacking in real user feedback. They are usually done by their analysts / experts, but does not actually translate to the "real" performance of the software which could vary from industry to the people using the software. What is more important for me is the underlying feedback of its actual users and what I should be aware of when implementing and operating the software.
I look at the product's roadmap and previous releases. There are some software that have been developed in a long time, and the frequent or not-so-frequent updates will tell me if the software developer is really serious in developing the software in the long run. This also minimizes the risk of the software being de-supported in the near future due to the developer closing shop, and thus providing me with options in cases that it happens.
TrustRadius has a particular niche for enterprises like my company which the other platforms miss the mark. Actually TrustRadius and Gartner Peer Insights would be the closest rivals in the software review circle for enterprises. There's software that is not available on Gartner, but available on TrustRadius so I make sure to check on them.
There's a number of software review sites that I trust to deliver on our expected results. TrustRadius is one of them. During the planning stages, prior to the start of the procurement stage, I usually research on software that is currently available on the market and the current reviews of this software from actual users.
