Overall Satisfaction with Ubiquiti Networks UniFi
It's being used for office connectivity and remote connectivity, although the constant failures and lack of any support has made Ubiquiti devices unusable.
- Nothing
- I created an urgent ticket that was escalated to tier 2 and I have yet to receive a response from their support. Entire office is down, I've asked for help 2-3 times a day and no response from Ubiqiti. Worst support ever
- Their interface is straight garbage - even if it worked correctly, which it doesn't. It's the iPhone of firewalls - it assumes you don't know how to set anything up, so they don't give you advanced options. You have to click something like 14 times just to view VPN status - and there's something like 4 different admin panels for a single device yet no logic to what tools will be located in which admin panel.
- The hardware repeatedly freezes and has errors. Newest firmware, kept cool and dry - warranty is useless since support will never contact you back.
- It would be nice if the client VPN worked
- It would be nice if the firewall and basic routing actually worked and didn't freeze
- It would be nice if the wireless worked and had decent RSSI
- It would be nice if their email only support would get back to you within a week or have a phone number or some way to get support
- Very negative impact - entire site is down, issues are constant and support is non-responsive.
- Saving the couple of hundred bucks buying this cheap stuff is NOT worth it if the products don't work and if they have no support at all.
Ubiquiti is the worst of all network products I've ever used - with the worst support. Even Netgear - as much of a joke as they are - have better products and support.
