Overall Satisfaction with UiPath Enterprise RPA Platform

The first tool we explored was UiPath and then me and my team performed a PoC on all listed attributes to test the tool at its extreme end. Overall, we were very impressed with the features and its ease of use. We have successfully deployed it at our premises to automate our operational activities and since then, we are getting results as expected.

We also proposed an architecture to one of our customers and designed it to achieve it on a PaaS, automating their daily CRM activities and the majority of back-office tasks which engaged many headcounts and repetitive processes.
  • Easy to install and deploy infrastructure. It is convenient on both IaaS and PaaS platforms.
  • Content, education on the tools, and blogs for reference are nicely articulated. Also, the team is available for technical support on channels like Slack, Forum and their technical help-desk. Last but not least, major learning courses are free.
  • Security, credential management and data privacy are maintained in an appropriate way which helps us to focus more on the process part and our deliverables.
  • They badly lag in providing support.
  • Licensing pattern is very confusing. It is very hard to determine which one to propose to the customer when designing a solution.
  • Script based automation to deploy infrastructure is quite difficult.
  • Invested in 2 bots and reduced 4 FTE's from the operations department. So, almost positive outcomes.
  • Invested in 2 bots, 1 orchestrator and almost released 10 FTE's from their daily repetitive processes.
  • Because of poor technical support, we lost one customer where we bought 2 licenses, set up the complete infrastructure, and the process didn't work out.
We chose UiPath because of the cost, ease of understanding, the quick setup, and the reference content and free help on many platforms.
UiPath is well suited for human resources and financial services tasks. UiPath is difficult to chip in with IT operational activities where multiple stepstones need to be logged.
