Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro

UKG Pro represents our HCM product landscape including Talent Acquisition and Management, HR, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Time and People Analytics. Aside from meeting our regulatory needs of managing and paying employees, UKG Pro elevates the process with seamless processes that enable a user to integrate into one system through a series of workflows in and through the lifecycle of the employee. With an open architecture, UKG Pro allows its clients to build a product suited to the needs of their uniquely formed organization. Whether you are a small business or a multi country global organization with complex a structure, the same base system applies. As a client, you select not only the products, but the vendors you want to integrate into your solution. Referencing their marketplace, you can select from products that are natively integrated or choose a path to select your own.
Our environment presented numerous deeply rooted systems that we needed to UKG Pro to be able to integrate with. Their open platform, made this very simple.

Pros

Cons

  • Offer a fully integrated reporting solution that pulls from all modules versus a separate analytics tool in each module.
  • Ability to use the ideas UKG Pro presents without being forced into specific modules. Ex Provide a Learning space where ANY learning platform the customer chooses plugs in, a Recruiting/Onboarding Space where ANY platform will plug in, EE Engagement, Performance, ... then the data connects to the data points within the architecture. With this model, anyone would be able to use the Career Designer versus limited to only those who have the perfect combination of products. This is just an example. Many times the products are created by UKG Pro that are amazing, then comes the "You must have A, B, C, D modules to use it" which excludes many customers and limits UKG Pro's selling potential.
  • At my last organization, we had what was formerly referred to as a "Global" account rep. This person had very limited amount of clients, we met on every case. They delegated our cases immediately in products outside of core to the same team member from that product. Our response time was usually less than one day. It was the best customer service I have had in 10 years as a client. Why is this model not looked at for everyone versus 3 different reps. This one person handled everything except sales. IT was beautiful. We met weekly. We never had cases go beyond a few days unless a JIRA was in play. Customer Service matters so much where many companies sell similar technology.
  • Org Chart - Executives would like the ability to stage movement and budget to see what the org would look like in a reorg planning. There is no ability to move, rearrange, export to different applications like PowerPoint.
  • Personally as a veteran user of UKG Pro, in past employers I have seen many amazing increases in employee engagement and ROI.
  • With QuVa, we are still very new to the UKG Pro platform and are just now beginning to get out of the implementation phase where we can start measuring the change. I will be looking for changes in Overtime spending to reduce as a result of more informative and actionable dashboards for managers to monitor overtime and timeclock abuses in real time. I am also expecting employees to engage more with new features being pushed out to the mobile app.
I was not with QuVa prior to UKG Pro and am unable to answer their prior state if UKG Pro did or did not give them this ability.
Web Import Tool! It changed everything. I remember so many yearends keying in in employee information and mass data changes one person at a time. The WIT has drastically reduced the manual entry for numerous record changes and updates.

The system is very easy to use. Training is available for all employee roles. I started myself with no experience in the HR Payroll industry and have made a career out of it. I have learned all the technical side of it from UKG Pro. Their system training is amazing.
