Overall Satisfaction with UKG Ready

We use UKG Ready for all payroll, recruiting, compensation, performance Reviews, learning, generating Job descriptions, interview questions. We also use it for People Insights

Pros

  • It streamlines processes and it there are many different ways to do different things, which enables the user to use it as they see fit

Cons

  • Benefits - Building the program - very confusing
  • When having a call with support, they should read the case and the details so we as the user do not have to re-hash the whole issue
  • SOP's/Trainings created for various modules - I usually have to build and create my own
  • Has reduced my HR time building JD by 50% using AI Bryte
  • IT has reduced the phone calls by allowing the employees to be more autominous
After you spend time with it and the ensure you go through the training it is very helpful.
This was the toughest part since the the specialist do not undertand the business and takes awhile for them to get to understand. They also have an agenda and don't like moving away from it. In addition, the more complex your organization the harder the implementation from my experience. This has been my LEAST favorite part due to the lack of training documents given etc.
We had an emergency and using the Company Announcement feature allowed me to communicate to the entire organization preventing possible safety issues communting into work. The team was grateful that I woulld be able o send them communication about a late start and to not have to brave the elements.

The system is robust and can make it as helpful as you want. If you do not have the time to teach and/or create training manuals - this system can be difficult. However, if you spend the time with the system then it it can be very good for you.
