Overall Satisfaction with UKG Ready (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready)
We use UKG Ready for all aspects of HR. We use it for application management, onboarding, payroll, HR management and benefit selection.
- Creating customizable options.
- Allowing the user to make changes themselves.
- Support is sometimes difficult to work through when you have a specific issue.
- Training is lacking when you implement a new project.
I think that the products are very good and do cater towards the healthcare industry. I just find them to sometimes be cumbersome and not as intuitive as I'd like. You really need a good understanding of how the program works to be able to make changes and adjustments. It is very programmer focused and not as end user focused.
I can do most tasks well and quickly. Learning new tasks especially ones that I only do on occasion take extra time because the steps are not intuitive. The move to the new platform also threw a wrench in the learning curve.
There is a "community" but it is difficult to find things that are actually helpful. The support is very hit and miss. Sometimes it is excellent and sometimes it takes weeks to get the problem solved. There are a lot of parts to kronos which makes it comprehensive but also makes it overwhelming.
