Overall Satisfaction with UKG Ready (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready)

The UKG Ready platform is extremely robust and configurable. It's its own pro and con, Catch 22. The system can be complex and not user friendly at times. In other situations, I have seen where companies really embrace the platform and utilize as much of the system as possible. There are many "modules," so it depends which ones you have enabled; the modules are HR, Payroll, and TLM. Benefits and other sub-modules mainly fall under the HR Module; Accruals under TLM -- there is another module that is able to be added alongside TLM, called "Advanced Scheduler." Setup is very hands-on, but once all of them are configured/implemented, and up-and-running, it's overall a great platform.

Customization of platform is something that no other competitor system is able to compare; coming from experience with using Paylocity, Paychex, ADP, and Workday.
As mentioned, the system is highly configurable for the need of any and nearly all company setups. The options are endless! The platform can apply various policies/configurations to various employees and/or locations. The system has items that vary from Scheduled Shift Swap to Shift Premiums. Personally, the TLM module is what "makes" the system.
Based on how the employer has been configured, the manager or administrator can be heavily involved and in-the-know of workflows and approvals taking place, in real time. It's all going to be determined by how workflows and security profiles have been defined/configured.
The only reason I did not give a higher rating on this is specifically because there is a variety of documentation scattered everywhere! UKG needs to do a better job of centralizing the content and where to access certain/all types of content. They have a community, which is extremely helpful, but the documentation can vary from being held within the system, to the community, to other areas as well... It's a lot to keep up with and gets frustrating.

UKG Ready is a fantastic solution for employers with 1 - 10,000 employees, especially for employers operating in various locations/states/countries. Being it is a worldwide product, it can be a go-to solution to streamlining corporate efforts and processes. Because the system is highly-configurable, security permissions are also able to be tailored down to specific items in each "area" of the system.
