Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

We use Ultipro for everything but benefits administration. This system has streamlined our payroll process and cut the time almost in half. I have a lot more time to provide more in-depth reports to managers and to take on other projects. Everyone in our organization uses the product.

Pros

  • The Business Intelligence module where you can create custom reports.
  • Step by step, easy to follow payroll process.
  • Can easily make manual changes to payroll without enlisting the help of Ultipro customer service.

Cons

  • Their canned reports in Core could be better formatted.
  • I wish UTM was a little more user friendly, some tweaks to the system can only be made by a representative
Depending on the type of people you employee, how they are paid is key. I have processed some very complicated payrolls where some employees had up to 17 different job codes with all different pay rates and the system we used could not accommodate that.

UltiPro Implementation

The representative that helped us through implementation was invaluable. She was there every step of the way and had an answer for every question we had. We ran into a few road blocks, but nothing that wasn't easily fixed right away. I've been through 4 company implementations and this system was by far the easiest.
