Overall Satisfaction with Unitrends Recovery Series Backup Appliance
The unitrends device backs up all of our desktop PCs and servers in our organization. It gives us peace of mind knowing we have reliable backups in place.
- The Unitrends device is easy to set up and get going.
- The client software is easy to install.
- The UI is easy to use and navigate.
- Recovery is not the simplest thing to do. Sometimes trying to find a specific file can be challenging searching through incremental and/or full backups.
- The new UI does not have the same functionality as the old one.
- We are a government organization so there are laws pertaining data retention. The Unitrends device has given us a peace of mind that if something does happen, we have sufficient backups in place.
The ease of use, functionality and price really set the Unitrends device apart from the other products we evaluated. One feature that really sold us is the ability to boot up a VM copy of a machine from a backup. This was a huge selling point for us because we are a 24/7 facility and can't afford to have downtime.
