Overall Satisfaction with Unitrends Recovery Series Backup Appliance

We are using Unitrends to backup our file server and plan to backup our desktops in the future.
  • Automated backups
  • Easy restore
  • Cloud and local backup
  • The user interface is a bit clunky but I know they are currently improving it.
  • Fortunately I haven't had to use it except for a few file restores.
  • One of the reasons we got it was to potentially protect us from ransomware.
As I stated before CrashPlan couldn't do the full system restores that I needed.
I can only speak for a small company. It works well for me because it gives me the robust backups I need with the lower cost I need. I also went with them because it has the ability to scale with us as we grow which is something I hope to need in the future.
