Overall Satisfaction with Unitrends

We have implemented Unitrends in our hospital to more effectively backup our critical servers and desktops. Prior to Unitrends we relied on a myriad of already included backup solutions such as Windows Restore or Windows Backup. This relied on other server sets to house the data and recovery was very time consuming. The Unitrends solution is simple and much more efficient at backup, restoration, and storage.

This has been a very reliable appliance. It provided an application to fill our needs and was able to scale to the size we needed while staying in our price range.
It's very appropriate for data backup solutions that require multiple types of backup capabilities. It is simple yet efficient. I would recommend this to any enterprise level as a backup solution. This solution would not make sense on a small or medium office scale. Our data needs are on the small end for the enterprise and I fear a large enterprise would need to really hash out an offsite data dump for the information backed up in order to be most efficient. Ours can stay right on the Unitrends box.
