Overall Satisfaction with Unitrends Recovery Series Backup Appliance
We use our Unitrends Recovery Series Backup Appliance to back up all of our critical servers and virtual machines for the whole organization. We replaced an old backup tape solution that wasn't working well for us and didn't offer the peace of mind that Unitrends offers us.
- File level backup and restoration is very straight forward.
- Easy to create backup routines.
- The available archive feature gives us the ability to bring a backup offsite.
- The dashboard could be better organized. It takes time to get used to the menus as they aren't intuitive.
- We had a user get ransomware in their network folder. We deleted the folder and restored from a backup. They were back in business in less than 5 minutes
- We are able to back up more data than we previously were able to backup with our previous solution, plus our backup window is much shorter now.
We selected the Unitrends Recovery Series Backup Appliance based on reviews by peers and the excellent demonstration that I received from the Unitrends team. Unitrends is far easier to use than Symantec Backup Exec was for me.
