Overall Satisfaction with Unitrends Recovery Series Backup Appliance

Unitrends is being used for our daily incremental backups, and weekly/monthly full backups as well as archiving for disaster recovery.

Pros

  • Quick and efficient backups
  • Quick and efficient archival
  • Ease of use

Cons

  • For our use of the back up appliance, it has performed as need, no complaints here
  • Recovery from a NAS failure
I have past experience with unitrends and felt it was the best solution for our needs with limited space requirements and limited IT staff.
In my industry, K-12 education, I feel that Unitrends is well suited in any district.
