Best Printing Solution
Overall Satisfaction with Vasion Print
We recently migrated to the cloud with Microsoft and in the process of going serverless we ran into a roadblock. What were we going to do about a print server? Then we found PrinterLogic (currently Vasion Print). This software works flawlessly. They helped us get setup and now not only can I manage the printers all over the state from my PC, but I can push driver updates with ease. Never has managing our printers been so easy. Outside of the printing there is a slew of other features that are just icing on the cake. From automated form creation to workflows. They are innovative and always pushing to bring new features that are in high demand to their users. The admin portal is easy to use and very hands off once everything is setup.
Pros
- Works as a print server.
- Pushes updates on drivers automatically.
- Manages our printers all over Texas, organized by location.
Cons
- I honestly don't have anything that comes to mind.
- Serverless printing
- Automatic driver updates
- Admin portal via website
- Fewer printing related IT tickets.
- Faster printing.
- Less travel to fix issues.
Before the software I was traveling across Texas to fix and manage our printers at least once a month not to mention deploying updates and new drivers was a pain. Now once I got all our printers setup I am able to manage our printers remotely from anywhere with cell service. I update drivers and mass deploy to all end users. My users can print by location across Texas. The product is truly innovative and amazing.
I have not used any other products like Vasion Print. We looked into Papercut before Vasion Print was recommended but didn't like what we saw when we compared the two products. Ultimately we went with Vasion Print because of its user friendly environment and scalability. It was a better fit for our organization. I feel that we made the right choice.
