Overall Satisfaction with Vasion Print

We implemented Vasion Print to address the complexities surrounding managing, updating, and provisioning printers in our environment using GPO. We also wanted to address the bottlenecks that occurred from using a single print server in our datacenter causing slowness when printing from branch locations. Vasion Print was easy to implement, cost effective and addressed the challenges that we were trying to address.

Vasion Print was so easy to use that after having a phone call and demo with Vasion Print, we were able to fully implement the product ourselves. Vasion Print is a product that is so easy-to-use and intuitive that training requirements are kept to a minimum while use of the product is quickly adopted.
We had about 15 satellite locations all printing through a single print server in our data center. This led to slowdowns and print jobs were sent from a satellite location to our datacenter and back. Introducing Vasion Print allowed us to reduce our network traffic, remove that bottleneck, and it also allowed us to remove a single purpose server that was providing print services.

Vasion helped us maintain centralized print management while moving away from GPOs and a single print server. SecurePrint has been great for ensuring that print jobs are only picked up by the person who printed them and not left sitting on a printer because someone forgot about them. Guest Print is a great feature for when we have people visiting our locations and need access to a printer.
