Coming from an On-prem Veeam back up solution and now using a fully automated Veeam Backup for AWS/Cloud- native backup and recovery resulting in less down time.

The most important aspect is knowing how to configure Veeam Backup for AWS. It becomes quite easy and very scalable to deploy across multiple departments depending on needs.
Performance wise, the backup process itself can appear not to be progressing but picks up after a while.
File restore and reports are completed in a reasonable time.
