Overall Satisfaction with Vena Solutions

Currently, I use Vena Solutions to consolidate and report monthly results for several regions. I also use it to consolidate and present forecasts/budgets to the corporate office in Canada.
  • User Friendly
  • Excel feel
  • Flexible
  • Scalable
  • Mapping is confusing
  • Ad hoc tool is too slow
  • Faster results
  • Fewer human errors
  • More time to analyze
In Hyperion, it is easier to create your own scenarios and update ad hoc reports.
I recommend Vena Solutions be used as a data aggregator. It expedites consolidations, makes comparisons easier and faster.
For planning and budgeting it is not that good. It requires in-depth knowledge of the tool to be able to create scenarios.
