Overall Satisfaction with Viewpoint Spectrum

Viewpoint Spectrum is used by our accounting and finance departments to manage inventory, calculate sales/taxes, and create financials.

Pros

  • Allows for electronic document storage
  • Display screens consistent between modules

Cons

  • Easier customized reporting
  • Allows us to have one system for all accounting functions
  • No 3rd-party tax services required
Support quality feels like it has decreased tremendously in the past 5 years. Wait times are 30+ minutes when calling, and the phone menus are tedious. All calls are re-directed to online support, if possible. This is difficult to navigate for users not accustomed to utilizing online chat. However, once contact is made with support, issues are handled promptly and efficiently.
Not sure, I was not on staff during the initial integration. Recommend regular review in-house with Viewpoint Spectrum support to ensure new integration possibilities are optimized.
Have not previously utilized any construction software. Our company has been on Viewpoint Spectrum for over 10 years.
With Viewpoint Spectrum, accounts payable is very easy to use. The payment processing between accounts payable and payroll is similar and displayed the same, so you don't have to learn another system when working in different modules.
