Overall Satisfaction with Watchguard Endpoint Security

We are an authorised WatchGuard Partner and find that the product addresses the requisite security needs of our clients via a more complete, integrated, suite of software and hardware. The interface is teachable, modern, and generally allows for one pane of glass interaction for the various services we offer through WatchGuard.

Pros

  • Integration of Hardware and Software
  • Endpoint protection is quite thorough
  • Technical support is strong

Cons

  • Performance of Partner portal. It is quite slow
  • Better integration of DNS GO into primary portal.
  • Single pane of glass management
  • Generally, a 50% increase in EDPR revenue
We did not work with a partner.
Clearly the time saved from a single pane of glass approach for physical network management and endpoint security is a boon for a business such as LIV IT.
Watchguard meets the three partner tenets that we look for:
1: That the product be best of breed.
2: That the Vendor provide academies or similar to allow for ease of training of staff.
3: That the management of the Vendor's service or product be timely, integrated, and not overly time consuming.
Better support, better pricing, better integration, better academy, better tools to educate internal staff.
