Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security
We have implemented WatchGuard Network Security not only in our own office but in over 100 of our client's offices. The product fits well in the SMB space with great features to help ensure the company network security.
- The suite of services is great, Total Security has all you need to help keep your network secure.
- The ability to create granular policies for different users or groups is very advantageous over other products we have used.
- Time to install and maintain is much less than other products we have used.
- I would like to see more consistency across the added security features.
- The purchasing model for Authpoint could use improvement, it makes it difficult to purchase one or 2 users at a time that get added later.
- We have implemented these across our client portfolio and they have been able to meet any task we have asked of the product.
We did not work with a different partner, as we are the Watchguard partner/implementor.
This has worked well as you size the appliance for your network and decide whether you want basic or total security. The rest of the features are included within the appliance and licensing which makes it easier to install, configure and use.
The Watchguard solution is much easier to configure and manage. Things that can be configured in a few clicks within a Watchguard take many more involved steps and menus to configure the same items.
