Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security
I currently have WatchGuard devices deployed at all four of our locations, including WatchGuard wireless devices. We have multiple wireless, physical and VLAN networks configured that allow us to segregate traffic and provide internet services for employees' personal devices completely separate from our company-specific network. WatchGuard [Network Security] allows us to keep the networks and data secure with ease of administration.
- Firewall rules are easy to create, manipulate and configure.
- Filtering web traffic is easy to visualize and adjust as necessary.
- The ability to instantly stop traffic based on device IP or MAC address has been very helpful.
- The web blocker feature allows me to allow and or deny access to specific sites within seconds.
- One of the few things that I would like to see changed is the config saving process for the devices.
- I'd like to see support tickets addressed more quickly.
- I really have no other complaints- it's a great product.
- Watchguard [Network Security] stops threats on our network on a daily basis- you can literally watch it happen.
- Watchguard [Network Security] costs are right in line or sometimes less expensive than the competitors and generally much easier to use.
- The mobile user vpn feature allows some of our reps to work from across the country just as though they were right her in the office.
We worked with virtual graffiti for the procurement of the devices- they are always very quick to respond and provide answers to questions and guidance when needed.
The ability to purchase a single device and know that the security is built-in without having to purchase individual subscriptions makes it an easy purchase. There are many subscription lengths and levels which makes it easy to find the right package for your needs.
I have only used Watchguard [Network Security] for the past 15 years for the simple reason that it works in every scenario I have come across. With speaking to other vendors, they just don't match up to what WG provides.
