Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have used WatchGuard Network Security to protect our business for many years. It is used in several areas such as a classic firewall with typical features, e.g. web blocker or intrusion prevention, but also as an email quarantine server and spam blocker. This is how we protect ourselves from e.g. possible hacker attacks, spam/viruses via e-mail, and many other things.

fast security updates
offers many security features

Development requests are accepted, but it takes a long time till they implement them
Software looks graphically a bit old
A german language pack would be great

our employees receive less spam and can work more concentrated
Employees responsible can create their own WiFi tickets via the wireless gateway controller without the need for administrators to act
In the event of a failure, the replacement device in the cluster would start up cleanly by itself so that all developers could continue working
