Overall Satisfaction with WatchGuard Network Security

We use it as a main firewall to block sign in attempts from outside of the building as well as a general router and security measure for our customers. Employing the use of the support and WatchGuard AuthPoint technologies to help safeguard VPN connections and communications for users data and privacy. It is easy to operate and support will quickly determine your problem without running you around like most support companies around the tech industry.

Cons

  • Some of the Watchguard Cloud Local management can be a little confusing to get to the right place (yet it will sort of guide you)
  • Longer Log Times in the cloud or dimension server, 24 hours can be tough to track an issue that is sporadic
  • Alot of things are constantly improved no other complaints at this time.
  • I don't usually work in the sales part of things but they are competitively prices compared to other Firewall endpoint solutions.
  • Easy to install and not much down time which can help with billing and time spent onsite.
We are a Watchguard partner ( PC AfterDark Inc.) but Watchguard support is super helpful and easy to work with if you have an issue.
It has made managing multiple companies and fireboxes in one location which is necessary for our business to keep up with updates and network security.
It has provided us and multiples companies ease of mind concerning network and data security.
They have been easier to use watchguard serves with less run around and more direct access to products and services.

We have had no reliability issues, even our personal watchguard has an uptime normally of over 3 months unless we have a power outage or manual reboot.
They keep our network and our customers networks safe from attacks with easy to read logs for investigation purposes.
Easy to upgrade, update or replace when necessary
