We've utilized TD Synnex and Pax8 for our Watchguard purchases. I believe Pax8 is our overall preferred partner, as they integrate with our PSA and allow for seamless billing for us and our clients.
Being able to log into 1 platform to manage our customers has been helpful. Multiple logins to different platforms is never fun when you're trying to manage customers information. Being able to work on fireboxes, ap's etc in one place is helpful to our technicians.
The ease of a centralized platform to control all products has been beneficial. The ability to reconfigure firewalls remotely has cut down travel cost for our technicians and made it much simpler fix an issue from anywhere.
Fortinet firewalls were hacked in Jan and April 2025 (some in 2024). Which means their creditability and trust levels have fallen in the MSP industry. I think at the end of the day we as an MSP want to know and trust the company we're working with that supplies security applications is also secure.
