Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

We use Webex across the whole organization and it keeps everyone connected both in and out of the office. I like the fact that with a small engineering organization I can always be connected with the person with the answer whether they are in the office or not. It is easy to set your status (out of office, traveling, etc...) so everyone knows what to expect for reply times and what you have access to. Sometimes hopping on a 5 min meeting with someone stuck on a problem in the field is all they need to fix a disaster and get on with their task. The fact that you can share screens and cameras makes it easy to help troubleshoot regardless of where you are. I cannot imagine working without it.
  • Security
  • Status updates
  • Video
  • Updates are slower than competition
  • Is best when used as part of Cisco UC ecosystem
  • Makes it easier to herd the cats!
  • Help is always just a click away
  • We already use Cisco for all our UC so it was a no brainer.

Do you think Webex Meetings delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Webex Meetings's feature set?

Yes

Did Webex Meetings live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Webex Meetings go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Webex Meetings again?

Yes

I do not think we have had an outage that I can remember in the last year or so. It has always been available for us to discuss other problems and outages we have had, so I have to give it a 10.
In general just add more licenses and you are good to go with the cloud solutions. Nothing is every that simple, but they Cisco and their partners do a good job of helping you determine how many of which licenses you need and what makes the best sense when it is time to expand.
Like most cloud offerings, most of video, audio, and streaming issues tend to be on the client side. I have noticed it tends to run well on some pretty old hardware but sometimes local networks, overburdened CPU/GPUs, and other issues can lead to less than great performance. In really bad cases just turning off video or having the user with issues call in via phone seems to help a lot.
It excels when you have a team that is not co-located or is working on several different projects and needs to meet "face to face" occasionally but gathering in the same room is not practical. If you can send a SIP stream, you can have a Webex meeting May be cost prohibitive for organizations that do not have enough remote meetings to make the cost worthwhile.
