Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Webex Meetings mainly to do presentations online with other team members outside of my office. This solves the problem of having to be there in person and also allows me to show them my work saved on my computer. Another strong point is that I can pass the presentation back & forth to the other team members so they can point out issues from what they can see.

Web-Ex should offer a separate OS based application to run on the Desktop so users don't have to rely on successfully installing a web browser add-on
Web-Ex should offer an option to control how many attendee cameras are displayed on the screen
Web-Ex should offer break out rooms for smaller groups to go off and discuss options

Zoom and GoToMeeting

Webex Meetings stacks up nicely against the competitors like Zoom & GoToMeeting. Webex Meetings is able to offer many of the similar features that make online meetings a success. In the current hostile online environment, Webex Meetings is able to offer users a secure place to meet online preventing others from hacking into the system to hijack the meetings.

Reliability and Availability

As long as I have internet access, I've always been able to connect to online meetings using Webex Meetings. The only issues usually arise due to other team members outside the office having trouble installing the needed plug-ins on their web browsers in order for the meetings to connect properly.

Scalability

Webex Meetings offer options to allow a number of users to be invited to meet in a single meeting. If that number has been reached, a simple email to Webex would allow for that number to increase to the next level of the package product offering.

Performance

Webex Meetings usually plays well with other products installed on the Windows OS. I especially like the Microsoft Outlook add-on Web-ex provides that allows me to create a Webex Meeting from inside Outlook so I can invite others from my Contact list to the meeting.

Likelihood to Recommend

WebEx Meetings is perfect for large corporations where there are many team players based in various parts of the globe. This allows for team members to meet online in a secure space to present and discuss various subjects without having to be in person especially during the Covid pandemic. Being able to support a webcam also allows attendees to view others that are online in the meeting.
