Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

We constantly join Webex Meetings hosted by our partner corporations. For internal meetings, Webex is an option, but we use Tencent Meetings more often. Usually, the user case is for business seminars and Webex Meetings helps us communicate with our partners on industrial experience sharing. Also, it's used for very formal business meetings.

Pros

  • Business seminars, for experience sharing of experts.
  • Formal business meetings.
  • Online news briefing.

Cons

  • It can add more functions of interaction between meeting host and meeting participants.
  • It will work better if the transfer of files during meetings is improved.
  • I would love it more if the connection is always good.
  • It's beneficial for the relationship building with partners.
  • It greatly boosts the experience sharing with industry.
  • It's beneficial for the company image building with a professional tool for communication and meetings.
A majority of my colleagues use it, including R&D research team, communication team, admin team and sales team.It is widely adopted across the company as a tool for communication and collaboration. We use it for cross team collaboration as well as communication with external partners.
  • Android
  • iOS
  • Windows
It is challenging to integrate, requiring in-depth technical knowledge. I accomplished it with technical support.
  • Zoom
My company actually uses both of them. Compared with Zoom, Webex has advantages of being a more professional tool for business communication. Moreover, in hosting industrial seminars, Webex has better coverage in industrial associations, so that more such professional events use Webex in this scenario. But Zoom is more flexible and user-friendly in customer scenarios.

Webex is used best when it's applied in formal online business meetings. Such as when my company has an official meeting with our partner, we would prefer to use Webex. Secondly, webex does a very good job when it is applied in industrial seminars. For instance, when it is used by an industrial association.

Webex Meetings Reliability

Generally speaking it's easy to apply and it's pretty stable with very infrequent unplanned outages. But as a user in Chinese companies, I would say the stability is still challenged in a lot of cases. I have never encountered application errors. But the network sometimes does not appear that stable.
It does good in general. As a software, I would say it lives up to my expectations, to be supportive, consistent and helpful. And I joined a lot of industrial meetings hosted by Webex, it's pretty impressively stable. That's why I value it. But of course it has a lot of space to improve.
I think so. Because I have joined Webex of very large number of participants. It does a good job. In this sense, I think it lives up to its design goal: to be scalable and supportive across multiple companies and sites. I think this is a core value of Webex that the company should pay attention to.
