Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

Our entire company is using this software to manage our expenses. From logging, creating, submitting, to paying out expenses is managed by Webexpenses.
  • Managing individual items in an expense export.
  • Viewing an entire expense report to see what is already included.
  • Visualizing the current status of the expense report and where it is at in the process.
  • The uploading of receipts onto individual items could have a cleaner user interface.
  • The UI for creating an expense is noisy, another way of saying that there are a lot of options, fields, and text fields on a single page.
  • The Date selector on the Creation screen has 'Autofill' on which creates a battle between the browser trying to give you a drop down of dates previously entered and the built in date selector.
  • This seems to be an easier to use piece of software for the people I know that use it. Which makes ramp up time shorter.
The UI can be very noisy with lots of fields, widgets, selectors, and colors all bombarding the user. The majority of expenses filed only need a subset of options that are shown. The workflow for uploading receipts from a local folder is weird: I've got a window split in half and I can upload a file to either half but it's not part of the expense unless I check a little box. This could use some more UI love.
I use Webexpenses to manage and submit monthly expenses for my team. Pretty straight forward like software should be.
I can pretty easily create expenses and submit them for approval. From there I'm able to easily track the status of them. I don't need many features from this software.

Do you think Webexpenses delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Webexpenses's feature set?

Yes

Did Webexpenses live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Webexpenses go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Webexpenses again?

Yes

This is definitely not something engineers say to other engineers. We don't recommend expense management software to anybody because that would be weird.
