Overall Satisfaction with WebPT
I use WebPT for electronic medical record patient documentation and billing. I have used many other electronic medical records in the past and this has been by far the easiest, most intuitive, and least cumbersome of them all. It seems much more "designed especially for physical therapists" as compared to the others.
Pros
- Bill is straight foreward
- Templates / quick phrases are relatively easy to customize
- Real-time, point of contact charting is smooth and easy to navigate / complete while with patient
Cons
- Some customization such as vestibular tests/measures/ objective would be very helpful for me. I would like to be able to create my own test/measures names as well as drop down menus/choices
- It would be nice to be able to carry-forward key objective measures from visit to visit
- It would be nice to have a place in the note where HEP could be carried forward without relying on WebPT's HEP builder (I prefer MedBridge). Currently I carry it forward in the "precautions" section.
- For me, improved productivity (ease of finishing documentation)
- I am not associated with the business aspect, so I can not speak to this.
I have already previously described this. I have used Epic; whichever one Therapeutic Associates uses; NexGen; and another hospital-based EMR. This is by far the easiest.
