Overall Satisfaction with WhatsApp Business

I use WhatsApp as a lead generation tool. I have a digital marketing company that serves countries across the GCC. My website is connected to WhatsApp, which allows me to chat with my clients and leads from different regions and countries. This allows me to keep my number attached as well in case of calls. Sth between a chatbot and a phone service.

Pros

  • Acts as a phone number
  • Acts as a chatbot
  • Allows me to connect to services like Instagram and Facebook

Cons

  • UI/UX of WhatsApp has room for improvement. The goal should be to add more features for business interactions outside of the everyday messenger. (interface wise, not feature wise)
  • Multi-device use is added but it's still not as flexible and fast as other messengers like Telegram
  • File transfer is time consuming and troublesome. It also has limits.
  • Definitely ROI - cheaper than other services
  • time saving
  • making me available for the business at all times
I consider WhatsApp to be very functional yet simple. It helps me bridge the gap between chatbot and using my phone number while being one of the main messengers me and my clients use on a daily basis. the Business features are also nice and they keep adding more so it is improving.
WhatsApp has been my choice for a few reasons. 1) being already sth I use everyday 2) more reasonable in terms of pricing compared to Zoom and others 3) more widely accepted, compared to Telegram and viber. The familiarity of WhatsApp I think is the winner here. Others are either too expensive or not reliable.

Did WhatsApp Business live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of WhatsApp Business go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy WhatsApp Business again?

Yes

You can connect WhatsApp to your site or app and use it as a chat service to communicate with your leads. It's easy and free to setup. It's also a service you already use on your phone so it won't be just another app added to the list. This is important as it will help you declutter and focus on active communication with your leads without the needed mutliple apps and signing in, etc.
