Overall Satisfaction with Widen

I currently manage the account on the admin side, but previously was a user accessing assets. In my current role, I manage users, storage capacity, and ensure assets available are all current and relevant.
  • The portal is organized and user-friendly
  • Locating files can be tricky, as things in file names don't always populate as expected.
  • Asset management
  • Brand safety
  • Brand safety across the organization and with external vendors
At this time we do not have a need for growth beyond our current use case.
We had quite a bit of turn over resulting in a loss of legacy knowledge; when I requested hands-on training, there was a bit of back-and-forth trying to first upsell and then direct to Acquia DAM (Widen) University before my specific request for hands-on training unique to our particular set up was directly addressed. That exchange was frustrating, when I was very clear about what I was looking for before we considered any changes to our subscription.
The tool allows our team and external vendors to quickly access brand-safe assets as soon as they are ready.

It's a useful asset management platform and allows control of who can see what relevant assets. Setting up portals can be confusing.
