Overall Satisfaction with Acquia DAM (Widen)

Acquia DAM (Widen) is used as an image database to power our website. We have thousands of mostly third party images and Acquia DAM (Widen) gives us the ability to catalog and tag images for easy access. The support to upgrade to Acquia DAM (Widen) was fantastic; there were detailed project plans and training documentation which helped many of the non-technical users to get up to speed. They also followed up and kept us on track when our progress was lagging due to other company priorities.

Pros

  • Project planning and implementation
  • Ability to tag and catalog images
  • Personal support to configure to our unique needs

Cons

  • I don't have any recommendations on areas of improvement.
  • We think this will help with self-service of our image library and thus increase efficiency.
The team is very focused on our success, keeps us on track with the project implementation and responsive to questions.

Acquia DAM (Widen) is suited to serve as a repository for content and in particular, for allowing third party users to access some content but not all. For example, we have third party photographs that we have purchased but do not want others to access. This is done simply through tagging the content.
