Overall Satisfaction with Wix
Wix is the core of my production business as well as the websites I create for other businesses. It's used on a daily basis to create and design websites. I also use Wix for my blog.
- It's easy to use and learn
- There are a lot of great functions
- Great customer support
- Affordable
- Lots of design maneuverability
- Some of the features do not work consistently or they are not able to be seen at all times.
- There are frequent bugs.
- SEO optimization can be improved.
- They removed some features that I cannot get back.
- Form builder applications and plug ins can be slow to set up and slow to load.
- Cannot customize certain features.
- Handling the footer section can provide issues.
- Event application / plug in has basic features but mostly not useful.
- Paid plug ins don't work well or fast enough.
- Paypal buttons take a long time to load.
- Repeater boxes don't work well.
- It doesn't allow you to copy and paste a section from one website design to another website design, which is an important function for saving time when managing multiple business websites.
- It's had a very positive overall ROI.
- Because of the limited functions, there is a lot of room for improvement.
- Most customers ask how to improve their SEO, but Wix only provides basic SEO optimization.
- Squarespace and WordPress
Wix is more simple to use than the other products, which is important when sharing administrative access to users or managers of a business because they need to be able to make changes without having a steep learning curve. However, Wix doesn't come with a lot of functions that the other products provide.
