Overall Satisfaction with Wix
I have used Wix for several websites so far. The main reason would be to create an internet presence and to increase the professionalism with which our NGO is being perceived
- Prefabricated websites that can be adjusted by its users
- Website templates which are visually attractive
- In my opinion, with the removal of the ADI web-building tool in favor of editor, user-friendliness has suffered tremendously.
- In my opinion, the removal of the ADI web-building tool in favor of editor makes that a big portion of a website has to be redesigned, as items are now linked to each other in a different way than before.
- In my opinion, the removal of the ADI web-building tool in favor of editor makes Wix only usable for professional website builders and no longer for the general public.
- Positive: Wix used to be a user-friendly platform on which a web presence could be generated in little time
- Negative: In my experience, Wix is no longer user-friendly but rather tailored to professional designers
- With the abolishment of ADI developing tool, I feel Wix will undoubtedly lose a lot of clients who cannot afford a professional web designer
Zoho provides a free email account which can be coupled to your website. Wix does not provide this free option but rather tries to sell a professional account through google.
