Overall Satisfaction with Workfront
Used by both Marketing and IT. My department, IT, is using it to consolidate project requests worldwide. We were in need of visibility to the workload, prioritizing of projects across regions and business units, and metrics. We are early in our department's transition and are concentrating on organizing the workload.
- Easy access to the workload.
- Dashboard capabilities are well received.
- The biggest struggle for new project owners is gaining an understanding of the dates for projects and how 'projected dates' and project conditions are impacted.
- We have an internal struggle with balancing out Help Desk system and WorkFront as a project management system. We will need to integrate the two to keep communication flowing and are dividing our teams between support and development to keep them from having to be in two systems.
- We are keenly interested in the improvements made to the resource management within WorkFront.
- Positive impact on visibility for the workload across teams.
We have had several home frown project management systems. Some Departments have used Microsoft Project. Parts of IT have used Service Now.
