WorkFront Review
Overall Satisfaction with Workfront
- Centralize projects in one solution
- Manage digital work processes
- Review and approve digital work
Workfront helps me manage my team's work. It not only helps me keep track of progress on projects, but it also helps me to assign work based on bandwidth. It keeps pieces of projects from falling through the cracks by creating very inclusive templates for those assignments that reoccur. It's also a great communication tool and is reducing the number of emails, and even meetings.
Pros
- Keeping abreast of the status of a project.
- Putting all communication in one place, making it easy to go back to reference comments.
- Keeping things on time and on budget.
Cons
- It needs an UNDO button.
- Making an update in the the "My Work" screen doesn't always transfer to the project itself, which can cause issues.
- There are a lot of glitches that have to be navigated around.
- Honestly, I don't think our ROI is probably that great because of the fact that our entire organization doesn't subscribe to the service.
- Makes managing my team's projects more efficient.
Yes - again, with the departments who use it. For others, they become frustrated with having to make work requests through the system since they aren't in it every day.
