Overall Satisfaction with Workfront
We use Workfront as our single source of record for Marketing Initiatives. This includes any and all Sales and Marketing Collateral related to print, digital, web, email, and events. We have partnered with our legal and compliance teams and integrated our workflows to include their review processes. This tool is a great way to promote visibility across an organization. Having one source of record ensures that we don't miss a beat, whether an employee is out on leave or a project is put on hold and brought back to life, we can stop and pick up right where we left off.
Pros
- Source of record for all work.
- Great for communication and collaboration.
- Document Repository.
Cons
- There are a few gaps in reporting functionality.
- Some of the views and terminology are confusing.
- I don't have three bad things to say...
- Our time to market has increased exponentially.
- Our resource management is the best it has ever been.
- Being able to show this IN WORKFRONT to senior management is a plus.
We used MDM prior to using Workfront and it just wasn't as user friendly. The setup was difficult, the communication area was not as robust, and the markup tool is not even in the same league. Once we found Workfront could do all that MDM could not, the choice was a no-brainer.
