Usability

A lot of functions are less than intuitive and it takes time to learn how to accurately use the software. Frustrating to have to watch videos versus being able to call for real-time support.

Overhead costs have not been impacted but the ability to share our account with our financial advisors and accountant has been valuable. Giving them direct access has eliminated the need to download and email reports.

Ease of Integration

The integration with Stripe was easy to set up but it was not easy to understand the data that we were seeing and how to reconcile. After logging a case with Xero and speaking with one of their experts (several times), everything is now squared away but there was no way we would have been able to work that out on our own - and watching the videos did not help.

Initial training was very brief and for first time users far from adequate. For those experienced in the use of accounting software perhaps Xero is intuitive but for novices it takes time to learn and the training videos are no substitute for being able to talk to an expert real-time.
